“Serving the needs of our members and making our message available gives us a feeling of joy. Service gives us opportunities to grow in ways that touch all parts of our lives.” – Narcotics Anonymous Basic Text Sixth Edition (Page 98)
Social Media & Our Guiding Principles:
The WA PR Committee would like to bring your attention to the Traditions when participating on social media as a member of the NA Fellowship. Tradition's 11 & 12 speak to maintaining our 'own' and 'others' privacy and anonymity. This is especially important when making a decision to post pictures of other members without permission or not knowing the privacy settings of other FB pages. Please read the attached brochure on the principles and how YOU can assist to maintain the safety and privacy of our members and families. It is up to each individual member to take responsibility at this level. Yours in Service – Narcotics Anonymous, Western Australia (PR Committee).
